The best place to start is either take it to a Triumph dealer and have a full diagnostic check done, particularly the IAC and TPS values or you can do this yourself with either TuneEcu or Dealer Tool software.

Experience is something you get just after you needed it

Well, if it were me, due to the experiences i have had with my 2010 i have had since new, first thing i would try is to load the TORs tune because the stock 2010s and possibly later had idling and starting issues with the stock tune. And myself and a number of others cured it with the tors tune. But if u don't have the means to load it (tuneecu and a cable) I would try the 12 minute tune first. Start the bike without touching the throttle and let it idle till the fan comes on, usually about 20 minutes. Then time it starting when the fan kicked in to 12 minutes and shut it off after that. That can fix things like this sometimes and is worth a shot. Otherwise maybe the dealer will load the tors tune for you or you can get a copy of the PC/laptop app for someone here. I'd send it to you as i'm sure others would, and the tunes are available online. And the CANBUS (or whatever thats called) cable is around $10-20 one ebay. Someone here can surely point you to one. Tuneecu is very usefull to have anyways, as it allows you to read error codes and do other tests and adjustments, and of course load tunes.
